(File Photo)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A car show and barbecue event this coming weekend will raise money to support the Brick Police Athletic League.<\/p>\n<p>The car show is being organized by the Positive Earth Drivers Club, which features classic and collectible cars made before 1990. The barbecue will hot dogs, hamburgers and more, with the proceeds benefiting the PAL\u2019s programs for children in the community.<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place at the PAL, 60 Drum Point Road, Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who owns a classic car is welcome to display their vehicle for a $5 entry fee. Prizes will be given for \u201cbest in class\u201d cars. For more information, those interested in displaying should contact Ernie Caponegro at 732-899-8177.
