Brick residents will have the opportunity to meet Ducey as well as township department heads and officials in order to discuss township matters. Department and division heads from the township will be on hand to provide assistance to residents. The event is open to all residents of Brick Township.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the township will be hosting an outreach event for citizens impacted by FEMA\u2019s Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps at the Civic Plaza at the same time. Representative from various agencies will be on hand to assist residents, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FEMA \u2013 Map Specialists, Federal Insurance and Mitigation Division<\/li>\n<li>NFIP<\/li>\n<li>SMARTVENT\u00ae \u2013 Risk Reduction Plus Team<\/li>\n<li>NJDEP \u2013 State Floodplain Administration<\/li>\n<li>Brick Township Floodplain Management & Engineering Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[box type=\u201dshadow\u201d ]<strong>Flood Insurance Rate Map Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released the Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for Ocean County.\u00a0 These proposed flood hazard determinations, if finalized, will become the basis for floodplain management measures that Brick must adopt to qualify to remain in the National Flood Insurance Program.
