(Credit: Google Maps)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Several thousand electrical customers were out of power temporarily Sunday night following an incident at a Jersey Central Power & Light substation in Brick.<\/p>\n<p>At about 8:10 p.m., a JCP&L wire came into contact with other wires serving customers in Brick Township, causing the wires to come down, said Ron Morano, a company spokesman.<\/p>\n<p>When this occurred some customers may have lost power for just a few seconds. The outage from the downed wires affected about 1,780 customers.
