(Photo: Tom Bernetich)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Joe Canal\u2019s liquor store at the corner of Route 70 and Chambers Bridge Road is becoming a Buy Rite liquor store.<\/p>\n<p>The township council on May 5 approved a resolution transferring the license from Danalex Group \u2013 which operated the Joe Canal\u2019s store \u2013 to RJS Tech, Inc., which will operate the store as a Buy Rite liquor store location.<\/p>\n<p>The transfer came with no objections.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Canal\u2019s operates 15 locations throughout New Jersey, all but two in the southern half of the state.
