Historical Society)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Donatiello, the township historian, had May 13 declared as his \u201cday\u201d by Mayor John Ducey a day earlier. The proclamation recognized Donatiello\u2019s long service to the community as a teacher, a founding member of the Brick Township Historical Society and of the Brick Township Historical Preservation Commission and the author of several books including two of the popular \u201cImages of America\u201d books about Brick.\u00a0 It also mentioned his recently being presented with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/2015\/03\/brick-township-historian-receives-lifetime-achievement-award\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pauline S.
