A photo of the suspect in a Toms River bank robbery. (Credit: TRPD)<\/p><\/div>According to police spokesman Ralph Stocco, a man walked into the branch and handed the teller a note demanding cash at about 6:45 p.m., then fled on foot in an unknown direction.<\/p>\n

He is described as a white male between 25 and 35 years old, approximately 5\u201909\u201d weighing 170 pounds. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black Chicago Bulls Starter hat with a \u201cdoo rag\u201d underneath it, white sunglasses, a long sleeve sweat shirt with grey sweat pants cut off below the knees and black sneakers, Stocco said.<\/p>\n

Anyone who can identify the man captured in the surveillance photo is urged to contact Detective James Carey at 732-349-0150 extension 1292 or Detective Steve Bucci at extension 1300.<\/p>\n
