(Credit: NWS)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Forecasters are predicting Friday will start off stormy on the Jersey Shore, with thunderstorms likely between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.<\/p>\n<p>The storm system will move in from the south and west, and some could produce heavy rainfall. Winds will be out of the east at 10 to 15 m.p.h., and a tenth to a quarter inch of rain is likely to fall, though amounts will be locally higher in areas where thunderstorms strike.<\/p>\n<p>After the storm system moves out, the day will continue to be mostly cloudy with a high near 79.
