(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Brick Township\u2019s Republican organization has selected a candidate to replace Dan Toth on the November election ballot.<\/p>\n<p>The Republican county committee met Wednesday night and unanimously chose Martin Ebert to be their candidate, said Brian DeLuca, the Republican municipal committee chairman. Ebert had already been running for a seat on the Board of Education and submitted a letter withdrawing from that race today. At the same time, he filed the paperwork required for the council race.<\/p>\n<p>Ebert, of Tall Oaks Drive, has been a resident of Brick for 30 years, DeLuca said. He has owned a legal services support business for some time.<\/p>\n<p>Ebert replaces Dan Toth on the ballot.
