On Saturday, he\u2019s hosting a lemonade, hot chocolate and donut sale at his house to support the K. Hovnanian Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>David Torres, a second grader, came up with the idea all by himself, his mother, Kristina Torres told Shorebeat this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy husband and I\u00a0had nothing do with this,\u201d Torres said. \u201cWe were completely thrown off when he approached with the idea to this but, we couldn\u2019t be more proud of him. He may be small but, he has the biggest heart out of anyone I know. He is always interested in helping others in need.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sale will begin at 12 noon at the Torres\u2019 home at 1410 Clay Avenue. Hot chocolate, lemonade, cookies and donuts will be sold.<\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t make it Saturday, Torres will be hosting a second fundraiser Oct. 24 at his Taekwondo school, the US Taekwondo Center located in Drum Point Plaza on Drum Point Road.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen he told his Taekwondo master that he was doing this, his master was so proud of him\u00a0and now would\u00a0like\u00a0David to also have a stand outside of\u00a0his Taekwondo School,\u201d Torres said.<\/p>\n<p>David Torres plans on dropping off the proceeds of the sale in person at the K.
