Brick Township\u2019s Chamber of Commerce said 66 new businesses joined the organization over the past year, providing insight into the vitality of the township\u2019s business community and the reach of what is one of the state\u2019s largest Chamber organizations.<\/p>\n

Executive Director Michele Eventoff attributed the growth to numerous factors, including her organization\u2019s efforts in the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf someone is looking to make new contacts through networking this is the perfect place to do it because we offer, at a minimum, two events that focus on networking every month,\u201d said Eventoff.<\/p>\n

The Chamber has expanded a number of its programs over the past year, including networking breakfasts and happy hours. Its benefits for members include a store-front resource center in Civic Plaza, stocked with members\u2019 advertising and promotional material, and advertising distribution to Brick residents. The Chamber also gave out $25,000 in scholarships over the past year.<\/p>\n
