Likewise, appointed board member Vito A. Gagliardi, Sr. will leave the board at the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The ticket of Stephanie Wohlrab, Victoria Pakala, John Lamela and George White swept the race.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we won because we\u2019re a strong team with clear goals and objectives,\u201d said Lamela.<\/p>\n<p>With a board majority in hand, the group of four will have the votes necessary to select a board president and largely set the agenda for the entire board.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think our number one goal is to hire good leadership, and have that leadership support our teachers. We need to make the Brick schools great again,\u201d Lamela said. \u201cI think by working as a team, working in a team environment with strong communication and a lot of transparency, we\u2019ll be able to do things right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lamela, Pakala and Wohlrab will each serve three year terms on the board.
