Neal Pedersen. The car then\u00a0left the roadway, striking a fence, which caused it\u00a0to overturn onto the driver\u2019s side. The car ultimately came to rest\u00a0on its side in the westbound shoulder of Princeton Avenue, approximately 50 feet east of the intersection with Navajo Trail.<\/p>\n<p>Labrutto was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Pedersen said a preliminary investigation has revealed\u00a0that the Labrutto\u00a0may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway.<\/p>\n<p>Brick police, the\u00a0Laurelton Fire Company, Brick Police EMS and Monoc paramedics responded to the scene, police said. The Ocean County Sheriff\u2019s Department processed the scene for the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Ptl. Jay Lampiasi and Ptl. Scott Dierking of the Brick Township Police Department\u2019s Traffic Safety Unit are investigating the crash.
