Brick Township Green Fair 2016<\/p><\/div>\n

Brick Shorebeat will be among numerous local businesses featured at this weekend\u2019s annual Green Fair event, which will include over\u00a060 exhibitors and vendors that will provide information on sustainability, conservation, stewardship, reduced consumption and the environment.<\/p>\n

Local \u201cgreen\u201d services and products, including crafts and artisan creations, will also be available. A focus of this year\u2019s Green Fair is participation by environmentally focused groups from several township schools and local scouting groups.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to highlight some green initiatives and projects from several of the township school and youth groups,\u201d said Mayor John Ducey, in a statement. \u201cThese young people will have a chance to display and share what they are learning, while also networking with individuals and groups from our community who are committed to environmentalism.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fair will also feature a number of vendors who participate in the township\u2019s Farmer\u2019s Market, which had a successful inaugural season last year and will be returning to Windward Beach Park next month<\/a>.<\/p>\n
