LaVergne was the party-backed candidate in Burlington County\u2019s portion of the district.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, this year\u2019s county freeholder race was unopposed on the GOP side \u2013 incumbents Jack Kelly and Virginia Haines are up for re-election \u2013 and heavily contested on the Democratic side.
