(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A 17-year-old Brick girl told police a man repeatedly tried to lure her into taking a ride in his car after she exited a school bus Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred at 12:35 p.m., said Sgt. Neal Pedersen, at the intersection of Silverton Road and Linden Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, a man\u00a0driving a black Cadillac sedan \u2013 possibly 2005 or newer \u2013 approached the girl\u00a0asking if she needed a ride.\u00a0 The girl\u00a0told him no and he again asked if she was sure she did not need a ride. Again, she stated no.\u00a0The girl\u00a0saw her neighbor outside his residence, and\u00a0told the male driver that the man was her uncle, at which point the driver pulled away towards Hooper Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>The man\u00a0was described as a white male, with a full head of gray hair, late 50s to early 60s, average weight, with pock marks (bumps) all over his face. The\u00a0description of the vehicle given by the neighbor was a black Cadillac, possibly 2005, with New Jersey\u00a0plates. \u00a0The girl\u00a0told police that she had never seen the suspect male or his vehicle before.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who has\u00a0any information on the identity of the driver is being asked to\u00a0contact 732-262-1100.
