A job fair being held Wednesday and Thursday at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City is aimed at recruiting displaced Atlantic City casino workers for a major new MGM project.<\/p>\n

The company, based in Las Vegas, is hoping to attract former casino workers from across southern New Jersey. Borgata is now fully part of MGM Resorts International, and will play host to the two-day job fair.<\/p>\n

The company is in the process of developing MGM National Harbor in Maryland and MGM Springfield in Massachusetts, both of which are in need of qualified employees.<\/p>\n

The career fair will seek to hire hundreds of open positions for the $1.3 billion entertainment resort casino under development in Prince George\u2019s County, Maryland, from table games dealers and slots technicians to cocktail servers and bartenders. Interested candidates will be encouraged to apply on site, and may even be invited to interview or audition on site for certain positions, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n

On hand for the job fair will be MGM National Harbor executives Jeffrey Elmore, Vice President of Table Games, Alex Alvarado, Vice President of Slot Operations, Logan Gaskill, Vice President of Human Resources and Alison Bybee, Vice President of Food and\u00a0Beverage.<\/p>\n[box type=\u201dshadow\u201d align=\u201d\u201d class=\u201d\u201d width=\u201d\u201d]\n
