(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Brick Township Council this week will vote on a measure to award a $1,396,960 contract for the construction of a transient boater\u2019s lounge and bathroom building at Traders Cove Marina and Park.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor John Ducey has said previously that the township is obligated to build the facility, which will include a resource center, laundry, restrooms, showers and a small lounge area, in order to keep grant funding that was used for the project. The township received about $4.9 million in grants for the project, including a Boating Infrastructure grant and an I BOAT NJ grant.<\/p>\n<p>The township began seeking bids for the project in May.
