(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Brick officials spent the day Friday preparing for the effects of Tropical Storm Hermine, which could regenerate into a hurricane off the New Jersey coast this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor John Ducey said emergency equipment had already been mobilized in the township\u2019s barrier island portion in case rescues are necessary. Bulldozers have been stationed at beaches in case emergency berms need to be constructed during the storm.
