The Brown family lived at 300 Jefferson Court in the township\u2019s Herbertsville section until Oct. 1998, when their home was sold. The family then moved to Pennsylvania before recently relocating to Florida.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_757\" style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/adam_matos.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-757\" class=\"wp-image-757 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/adam_matos-240x160.jpg\" alt=\"Adam Matos (Photo: Pasco County Jail)\" width=\"240\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/brick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/adam_matos-240x160.jpg 240w, https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/brick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/adam_matos-290x195.jpg 290w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-757\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Adam Matos (Photo: Pasco County Jail)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>According to a report in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tampabay.com\/news\/courts\/criminal\/hudson-murder-suspect-arrested-on-pennsylvania-warrant\/2197798\" target=\"_blank\">Tampa Bay Times<\/a>, Matos is suspected of trying to cover up his alleged crime by buying shovels and selling his victims\u2019 dogs for $50 apiece on Craigslist.<\/p>\n<p>Bay News 9, a Tampa area cable news channel, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baynews9.com\/content\/news\/baynews9\/news\/article.html\/content\/news\/articles\/bn9\/2014\/9\/6\/man_suspected_in_qua.html\" target=\"_blank\">reported last week<\/a> that Pasco County, Fla., sheriff\u2019s deputies went to the family\u2019s home on Sept. 4 to perform a welfare check and found blood, \u201ca projectile\u201d and a foul odor at the home consistent with a decomposing body. The four victims\u2019 bodies were later found in a field near the home, stacked on top of one another.<\/p>\n<p>A manhunt then began for Matos, who had taken the four-year-old son whom he had with Megan Brown. They were later located in a Tampa hotel; the child was unharmed.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tampabay.com\/news\/publicsafety\/crime\/suspect-in-hudson-murders-speaks-from-jail\/2196948\" target=\"_blank\">jailhouse interview<\/a> with the Tampa Bay Times last week, Matos denied being responsible for the murders but said he doesn\u2019t believe he can change the minds of people who feel he committed the crime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody\u2019s looking at me like I did it,\u201d he said. \u201cAll the fingers point to me, you know?
