Brick police are seeking help from the public to determine the identity of a man who they say stole copper piping from a township business.<\/p>\n

During the early morning hours of Nov. 29,\u00a0a white male was observed on video stealing copper piping from Brick Heating and Cooling at 465 Brick Blvd., according to Sgt. Neal Pedersen.<\/p>\n

On surveillance\u00a0video, the suspect is shown arriving at 5:32 a.m. and cutting\u00a0the locks on storage trailers. He then\u00a0loaded his white van with 10-foot lengths of copper piping. The van then left the business by driving through the Truck Land parking lot and out the rear exit onto Jackson Avenue, said Pedersen.<\/p>\n

The van\u2019s rear doors were open when the suspect left due to the long lengths of copper sticking out the rear, Pedersen said. The van is described as a white, full size model with a round bubble window on the side. The copper is valued at over $500.<\/p>\n

Anyone who has any information on this theft or can identify the van is being asked to\u00a0contact Detective Dan Waleski at 732-262-1170.<\/p>\n
