Brick Township is planning to host its annual rabies shot clinic for residents\u2019 pets, the municipal government has announced.<\/p>\n

The clinic will be held Jan. 22, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Drum Point Sports Complex, 41 Drum Point Road, Brick.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease cooperate and have your pet on a short leash and accompanied by an adult,\u201d the township\u2019s announcement said.<\/p>\n

All dogs and cats, seven months or older, in the Township of Brick, must be licensed for 2017 during the month of January. A certificate of rabies vaccination must be presented, and must be current through Nov.\u00a02017 for a one year license or November, 2019 for a three year license. Also, if a resident\u2019s\u00a0dog and\/or cat has been spayed or neutered, the owner\u00a0must present a statement from the veterinarian.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Licenses may be obtained either by mail or at the municipal building, 401 Chambers Bridge Road, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Exact change, check or credit (no American Express) accepted. If requesting by mail, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope.<\/p>\n
