Lavallette residents and visitors will be able to give their friends and family members the gift of sun and fun again in 2024.
The borough will begin its sales for 2025 seasonal beach badges Monday, Dec. 2 at town hall, Councilman Michael Stogdill said at Monday’s meeting of the governing body. The seasonal sales will run from that date through Dec. 31, and will consist of 2025 regular season badges and senior badges.
The holiday season sale is a good opportunity for sun-worshipers to not only get a jump on their summer plans, but to save a few dollars in the process. Season badges are $60 when purchased pre-season, versus $65 when purchased in-season. Senior badges, reserved for those ages 65 and over, are $20 per season.
(There is no charge for all veterans of any military service and all military service personnel on active duty status, with ID required.)
The official bathing season is generally set for mid-June. Badge prices normally return to full cost the week before Memorial Day.
