A group of ducklings found themselves in a precarious situation over the weekend, not only separated from their mother, but stuck in a storm drain.<\/p>\n

Witnesses, who saw the mother duck upset that she was unable to reach her ducklings on O Street on Saturday, called police and a group of officers and public works officials got to work.<\/p>\n

The officers and Seaside Park Public Works employees were able to open the storm drains and rescue the ducklings, then safely reunite them with their mother. They also received a courtesy escort to make sure sure they got safely back to the bay.<\/p>\n
