A Kentucky Derby party is being planned to raise funds for the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, organizers said this week.<\/p>\n

The party will, of course, take place on Derby Day, May 4, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the squad building at J Street and Central Avenue. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at Stefanik Realtors at \u201cL\u201d Street and Central Avenue.<\/p>\n

Chef Greg Manning from Half Moon Point Restaurant<\/a> will prepare a buffett dinner. There will be a \u201cMint Julep\u201d fixins bar. Door prizes will be awarded for the \u201cHat Parade\u201d winners and Derby Race winners. There will also be many other door prizes, organizers said.<\/p>\n

The deadline to purchase tickets is April 28. Before heading to the real estate office to purchase tickets, those who wish at attend are asked to call Judy at 732-793-0812 or Sue at 732-250-6472.<\/p>\n
