Seaside Park announced Monday that the borough will return to its in-season schedule of two trash pickups per week beginning April 21, 2025.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement, oceanside pick up will be Mondays and Thursdays, and bayside pick up will be Tuesdays and Fridays. Recycling pickups for the borough as a whole will take place on Wednesdays. Bulk trash pickups will resume on Thursdays beginning next week. The entire schedule for the year is available at this link<\/a> on the borough website.<\/p>\n

Residents are required to place their garbage or recycling between the curb and sidewalk by 6 a.m. on the day of pickup, but not prior to 6 p.m. the day before. Garbage cans must be 45 gallons or less; recycling cans must be 32 gallons or less. No \u201crobo-cans\u201d are permitted.<\/p>\n

The borough\u2019s recycling center at 14th and Barnegat avenues, across from the baseball diamond, will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through May 15. Beginning May 16, the recycling center will be open seven days per week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
