The Lavallette school district will host a Community Water Safety training event in collaboration with the neighboring school districts of Point Pleasant Beach, Point Pleasant Borough, Island Heights, Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and Berkeley Township.<\/p>\n

Superintendent Lisa Gleason said the event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at Lavallette Elementary School, 105 Brooklyn Avenue. Part of the \u201cParent University\u201d program, the evening\u2019s topics will focus on water safety awareness, drowning prevention, and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether you\u2019re at the pool, lake, beach, at home or on vacation, knowing how to stay safe around water saves lives,\u201d the event announcement said.<\/p>\n

Attendees will also be able to enter a drawing for a $500 ticket package for Breakwater Beach and Casino Pier. The presentation will be made by members of the ZAC Foundation, New Jersey Swim Safety Alliance, and Lavallette schools.<\/p>\n
