The total number of calls for service handled during that time was 282. The blotter appears below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>5\/29\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Arrest \u2013<\/strong> Police were dispatched to the ocean block of L Street for a male subject possibly passed out in their vehicle. Officers arrived and located the parked vehicle with a large pile of vomit outside the driver\u2019s side door. The male subject was asleep in the driver\u2019s seat. Police had to physically wake the male up to get him to respond. While speaking with the male the odor of alcoholic beverages were observed. Field sobriety tests were conducted at the scene, and it was determined that the male was intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was processed at police headquarters and released.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5\/30\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Well Being Check \u2013<\/strong> Police were dispatched to the area of Island Avenue and Bayview to conduct a well being check on a family member that had not returned home and was not answering their phone. The caller advised us of their family members last location on the app they use and their description. Patrols were advised of the male\u2019s description and officers checked the area. Police were able to find the male and made contact with him. He advised police that his phone battery ran out and that he was fine. Officers updated the caller with our findings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trespassing \u2013<\/strong> Police responded to the area of Lafayette and Central for two juvenile males trespassing in a house that is currently under construction. Officers arrived and made contact with the males who were found inside the construction site. There was no damage observed. The males were both released to a parent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5\/31<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Officer Request \u2013<\/strong> Police were dispatched to the area of F Street and Bayview for a caller reporting seeing an unknown person on a security camera in the front of their residence and possibly could have entered the home without permission. Officers arrived and checked the residence. No signs of forced entry were observed. The front door was found to be unlocked, and officers made entry and cleared the interior of the residence. Nothing appeared to be disturbed, and no one was located inside. The homeowner was advised of our findings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disturbance \u2013<\/strong> While on patrol in the area of Municipal Lot 2 Officers observed a male and female yelling inside of their vehicle. Officers checked on the couple and made sure everything was fine. The couple was on the phone and were arguing with the person on the other end. They were advised to keep it down. No further police action required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Borough Ordinance \u2013<\/strong> Police were dispatched to the area of Stockton and Ocean for a male who was urinating in public by the caller\u2019s vehicle. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller. Police were able to also locate the subject nearby from the description provided. Police spoke to the male subject who admitted to the infraction and was issued a borough summons for urinating in public.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6\/1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire Alarm \u2013<\/strong> Police and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the area of 12th and Barnegat or a fire alarm activation. Officers arrived and no smoke for fire was observed. The fire department arrived and checked the building with their equipment, and it was deemed to be safe, and determined to have been a false alarm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6\/2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>First Aid \u2013<\/strong> Police and Tri-Boro First Aid Squad was dispatched to assist a patient experiencing back pain and dizziness. Officers and EMS arrived and assessed the patient at the scene. They were later transported to Community Medical Center for treatment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6\/3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Suspicious Person \u2013<\/strong> Police were dispatched to the area of M Street and Ocean Avenue for a caller who reported a suspicious male who appeared to be following a female in the area. Officers checked the area and did locate the male nearby. The male stated he did speak with a female to be friendly. The female was fine and just felt uncomfortable with the interaction.
