Mathis Bridge has been reopened to vehicular traffic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previous Story:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Officials say a &#8220;long term&#8221; closure of the\u00a0Thomas A. Mathis drawbridge, which carries eastbound Route 37 into Seaside Heights, has resulted in a traffic diversion.<\/p>\n<p>The bridge is currently stuck in the &#8220;up&#8221; position and cannot be closed.<\/p>\n<p>Christopher Vaz, Seaside Heights Borough Administrator, said eastbound traffic onto the barrier island has been diverted onto the J.
