A Seaside Heights man is facing drug charges after being found with 910 bags of heroin, police said.<\/p>\n

The arrest occurred as the Toms\u00a0River\u00a0Police\u00a0Department\u2019s\u00a0Special \u00a0Enforcement\u00a0Team\u00a0was\u00a0conducting\u00a0surveillance\u00a0in\u00a0the parking\u00a0lot\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Ocean\u00a0County\u00a0Mall, said Ralph Stocco, police spokesman. During\u00a0this surveillance, members\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0unit saw\u00a0an\u00a0individual\u00a0they\u00a0recognized\u00a0as\u00a0Iquan\u00a0Small\u00a0pull\u00a0into\u00a0the \u00a0parking\u00a0lot, according to Stocco.<\/p>\n

Small,\u00a023\u00a0of\u00a0Sumner\u00a0Avenue\u00a0in\u00a0Seaside\u00a0Heights,\u00a0was\u00a0known\u00a0to\u00a0have\u00a0an\u00a0active\u00a0warrant\u00a0for\u00a0his arrest\u00a0and\u00a0officers\u00a0approached\u00a0his\u00a0vehicle.\u00a0\u00a0Small\u00a0was\u00a0placed\u00a0under\u00a0arrest\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0strength\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0warrant, and in\u00a0his\u00a0possession\u00a0were\u00a0160\u00a0wax\u00a0folds\u00a0of\u00a0heroin, Stocco said.\u00a0\u00a0Additionally,\u00a0Small\u2019s\u00a0vehicle\u00a0was\u00a0searched\u00a0which resulted\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0seizure\u00a0of\u00a0an\u00a0additional\u00a015\u00a0bricks \u2013 750\u00a0wax\u00a0folds, according to Stocco.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0estimated\u00a0street\u00a0value\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0heroin\u00a0is\u00a0over\u00a0$5,000, according to police.<\/span><\/p>\n

Small\u00a0was\u00a0charged\u00a0with\u00a0possession\u00a0of\u00a0heroin\u00a0and\u00a0possession\u00a0of\u00a0over\u00a0one\u00a0half\u00a0ounce\u00a0of\u00a0heroin\u00a0with\u00a0the intent\u00a0to\u00a0distribute in the second degree. \u00a0He is\u00a0being\u00a0held\u00a0in\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Ocean\u00a0County\u00a0Jail\u00a0in\u00a0lieu\u00a0of\u00a0$100,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n
