The ban does not extend to any other portion of the town.<\/p>\n<p>Borough Administrator Christopher Vaz said the council took the step after receiving complaints from workers about drones regularly flying in and around the construction zone.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some of them had apparently come in pretty close,&#8221; Vaz said.<\/p>\n<p>In recent weeks, drone footage has frequently appeared online, showing aerial views of the project, which will expand the pier northward to accommodate new rides and attractions.
