Justin Lamb,\u00a0Evan J. Carlock, 26, of\u00a0Fairview, N.J., was the man behind the June 13 incident, during which a\u00a0gas attendant at the\u00a0Kelly\u2019s\u00a0Sea-Bay Sunoco\u00a0gas station was approached by the suspect at gunpoint demanding money.<\/p>\n<p>Lamb said Lavallette police were assisted by investigators from the Brick Township and Fairview police departments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Lavallette Police Department contacted the Ocean County Sheriff\u2019s Department for K9 assistance and the Ocean County Prosecutor\u2019s Office, but a search was unsuccessful in locating the suspect at the time of the initial robbery. Afterward, the longer investigation took place.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>Carlock was charged with first degree armed robbery and third\u00a0degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
