Douglas struck a 2015 Toyota Corolla driven by Michael Carlo, 32, of Seaside Park. Carlo\u2019s vehicle was then pushed forward into a 2015 Nissan Rouge that was being operated by 32-year-old Edward Brick, from Bick Township.<\/p>\n<p>Carlo, the Seaside Park resident, needed to be extricated from his vehicle by fire rescue units as a result of the extensive damage to his car. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of head injuries, Stocco said.<\/p>\n<p>The crash is still under investigation by Officer Kenneth Thomas. Toms River Fire Companies \u00a0No. 1 and \u00a0No. 2 responded along with fire units from East Dover and Island Heights.
