Time to feed the meter. The off-season of free parking is over in Seaside Heights.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daily, metered parking will be enforced starting today, April 2 in Seaside Heights, through October 31. <\/span><\/p>\n

Fees range from $1\/hour to $2\/hour depending on the location and is enforced 24 hours a day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most spots require you to pay at the parking kiosks and accept cash or credit card. There are also coin-operated meters right at some spots. But Seaside Heights is also looking at a mobile payment app for smartphones and tablets, according to the borough tourism site. <\/span><\/p>\n

For now, the coin slots and kiosks are what\u2019s available. A ticket for a parking violation is $55 for Seaside Heights.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Seaside Park, there\u2019s still time to park for free on weekdays. But come May 16 and through September 15, parking meters will be enforced 24 hours each day. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now through May 15, Seaside Park\u2019s parking meters are enforced only on the weekends, specifically for the hours of 10 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Monday. However, all municipal lots are closed between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. every day year round.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Seaside Park, the paid parking areas are along the oceanfront blocks from Porter Avenue down to O Street, and the borough\u2019s three parking lots, as well as North West Central.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parking is $1.50 per hour in Seaside Park.<\/span><\/p>\n
