The Seaside Heights planning board will meet next week to consider the application by a property owner to open a moped and scooter rental business on his property.<\/p>\n

The business is proposed for 1114 Boulevard, which has housed a plumbing company for several years.<\/p>\n

As part of the application, the owner, John Condit, will request\u00a0for variances for the front setback of the building and approval of a sign for the business, as well as a use variance to use the property in the Retail Business Zone for the purpose of renting scooters and mopeds, along with such other variance and design waivers.<\/p>\n

The hearing will be held\u00a0April 25, 2018, at 6 p.m. at the borough municipal complex.<\/p>\n
