Broadway lovers at the Shore won’t have to venture far to see the stars and performances they love this summer \u2013 and it all starts Sunday.<\/p>\n

Three concerts will be presented this season. Sunday’s performance is “Gettin’ the Band Back Together,” which will feature a selection of songs from the musical, featuring a live performance by Marilu Henner. The performance begins at 6 p.m. at the Franklin Avenue stage.<\/p>\n

The performances were organized by local residents Dee Pellegrino and Joseph Brunetti, of DPM Shore Solutions<\/a>, an event and media company.\u00a0The\u00a0family-friendly\u00a0concerts are open to the public and\u00a0will feature performances\u00a0by the actual cast members of Broadway\u2019s biggest hit shows.<\/p>\n

The Monday, Aug. 6 performance will be “Anastasia” and the Monday, Aug. 13 show will be a revue featuring the casts of\u00a0School of Rock,\u00a0\u200bBeautiful – The Carol King Musical and\u00a0\u200b\u200bThe Play that Goes Wrong. All shows will start at 6 p.m. on the Franklin Avenue stage.<\/p>\n
