North Bayview Avenue in the borough was closed for its entire length, and local streets were blocked off with barricades. Some drivers \u2013 mainly those behind the wheel of four wheel drive SUVs \u2013 were able to make it through, but not without a splash.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the second day of flooding along Seaside Park\u2019s bayfront. High tide was at 1:55 p.m. Monday afternoon, and the water began receding around 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The National Weather Service said minor tidal flooding would continue through Monday night due to runoff from rain as well as the high tide. The rain will fall over the same areas that received three to four inches of rain Saturday night into Sunday. Area creeks, streams, and rivers are already running high with a few still above flood stage.
