The Ocean County\u2019s Prosecutor\u2019s Office has charged a Seaside Heights man with failing to register as a sex offender after he allegedly did not notify police of a change in address.<\/p>\n

Edward Krogman, 62, of Seaside Heights was arrested by detectives of the Seaside Heights Police Department on May 8, authorities said in a statement issued Monday. In this instance, Krogman moved from his last known address without registering or notifying any law enforcement agencies, the statement said. Krogman is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail.<\/p>\n

According to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation sex offender database, Krogman was convicted in 2000 of taking indecent liberties with a minor, however the details of the case were not provided. His last known address was listed as \u201chomeless,\u201d according to New Jersey state police.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy office, in conjunction with local police departments will be vigilant in making sure individuals required to register under Megan\u2019s Law are in compliance with their obligations\u201d Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.<\/p>\n
