The Sawmill in Seaside Park is among 20 establishments that hold liquor licenses to have violated Gov. Phil Murphy’s executive orders related to the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

The Sawmill was the only Ocean County establishment on the list issued by the office of the state attorney general. Details of individual incidents were not disclosed, but the bar is facing a 10-day suspension of its liquor license. Two establishments in other areas of the state were issued fines, but The Sawmill was not \u2013 only the charge that may result in the short suspension.<\/p>\n

The order which was violated, according to a statement, is one which requires licensed establishments that wish to stay open to do so only for take-out or delivery services of food and alcohol. No table or bar service is permitted on premise and alcohol consumption is prohibited, the statement said. Plus, alcoholic beverages \u201cto go\u201d must be in sealed original containers.<\/p>\n
