(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Mantoloking officials have contacted their Lavallette counterparts about having the borough maintain its court in Lavallette&#8217;s new municipal complex.<\/p>\n<p>Mantoloking&#8217;s court is currently operating at the Brick Township municipal complex and has been since Superstorm Sandy destroyed Mantoloking municipal building.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They have a need because they\u2019re not yet resolved in how they\u2019re moving forward with their municipal building,&#8221; said Lavallette Mayor Walter LaCicero. &#8220;They will pay us rent in order to use our court room, much as we did in renting Island Heights court.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Borough Administrator Christopher Parlow said a &#8220;test run&#8221; will be held Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. to see how smoothly hosting Mantoloking&#8217;s court sessions go.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019ll see how it works out, then we will sit down and come up with a price,&#8221; Parlow said.<\/p>\n<p>Court staff, including police officers who are required to be on hand for security during municipal court sessions, will be provided by Mantoloking.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><div class=\"fb-share-button fcbkbttn_large_button \" data-href=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/lavallette-seaside\/2015\/12\/mantoloking-wants-to-locate-its-municipal-court-in-lavallette\/\" data-type=\"button_count\" data-size=\"large\"><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mantoloking officials have contacted their Lavallette counterparts about having the borough maintain its court in Lavallette&#8217;s new municipal complex.
