The arrays will be the subject of a hearing at an upcoming meeting of the borough\u2019s planning board.<\/p>\n<p>The installation of 5G networking equipment has <a href=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/lavallette-seaside\/2018\/12\/in-lavallette-promise-of-5g-technology-could-turn-shore-town-to-battleground\/\">generated some controversy<\/a> among a group of residents who believe the nodes are a detriment to both the aesthetics of the community and also pose a safety risk. The Federal Communications Commission, however, has not confirmed evidence of health risks and has developed 5G infrastructure rules that prevent municipal governments from banning the devices. The federal policy does allow municipalities to adopt regulations for 5G nodes, which <a href=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/lavallette-seaside\/2019\/02\/lavallette-targets-5g-wireless-nodes-with-proposed-ordinance-seaside-heights-concerned-too\/\">have been codified by ordinance in Lavallette<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed nodes would be located at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>598 Oceanfront<\/li>\n<li>1103 Oceanfront<\/li>\n<li>1406 Oceanfront<\/li>\n<li>110 White Avenue<\/li>\n<li>1608 Bay Boulevard<\/li>\n<li>76 Grand Central Avenue<\/li>\n<li>110 Pennsylvania Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The plans are currently under review by the borough engineer and attorney, according to Borough Administrator Robert Brice.
