Seaside Heights will revive its Que by the Sea barbecue festival this weekend, featuring a variety of vendors plus lively entertainment.<\/p>\n

The two-day, free-admission, festival will be on Grant Avenue off the boardwalk, and will be held Saturday from 12 noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

The festival features three of the top barbecue food trucks in the Northeast as well as both live musical performances and live on-air broadcast music by JerseyShoreCountry.com<\/a>. Plus, there will be a collection of arts and crafts vendors and additional food offerings.<\/p>\n

Great barbecue is at the heart of Que, said Michael Redpath, director of the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District, which is sponsoring the event. The three featured barbecue purveyors are Big Barlow\u2019s BBQ, a local craft BBQ from Barnegat, N.J., Off the Bone BBQ from Columbus, Oh., and Smoke Shack BBQ & Burgers, from Milford, N.J.<\/p>\n

JerseyShoreCountry.com, which has a studio on the Seaside Heights boardwalk and broadcasts on the iHeartRadio platform, will be broadcasting live from the Que stage and will also offer a number of live performers. While Jersey Shore Country is, as the name implies, a country station, it will be providing a variety of music genres. Performances will include “2 if by C,” a duo covering music from the 60s to today, Saturday and Sunday. South 62, artists from Nashville, will display their love for traditional country music Saturday. Samantha Spano, singer and songwriter from New Jersey, will perform Saturday. Sandi Joy, New Jersey\u2019s own singer, songwriter, and member of Kickin\u2019 Nash, will perform Sunday.<\/p>\n
