Tom MacArthur (R-3), who represents most of Ocean County in the House of Representatives, was on board the train that crashed into a truck Wednesday, leaving one person dead.<\/p>\n<p>MacArthur confirmed he was on the train but said he was not injured.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On the way to the annual GOP retreat, the train that my colleagues and I were traveling on was involved in an accident,&#8221; he said via social media. &#8220;I am ok and am thankful for the first responders for their quick action. My prayers are with those who were injured in this accident.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Amtrak train was carrying a number of federal legislators, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, to a retreat in West Virginia.
