The NWS&#8217;s office in Mount Holly has already warned that between 1-2 inches of rain may fall, with more in isolated locations. There is also the possibility of coastal flooding.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It probably will result in significant rises for a few small streams, especially those that empty into the Atlantic ocean since astronomically high tide cycles may alter normal river drainage,&#8221; an NWS statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that warm temperatures will ensure the storm is a rain event only \u2013 no snow or other wintry precipitation is currently anticipated.<\/p>\n<p>Temperatures this week are expected to remain mild.
