(File Photo\/ Credit: Billie Grace Ward\/ Flickr)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Construction of a new water main in a portion of Silverton will impact residents there for approximately four months, the township&#8217;s water purveyor has announced.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kettle Creek Road, Larch Drive, Shasta Lane and Sherwood Lane could begin seeing construction crews from Suez and its subcontractors as early as March 21. The work is scheduled through Aug. 31.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Approximately 5,600 feet of water main will be replaced in this area, Suez said, and customers could face an interruption in water service. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those residential streets\u2019 work is from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, said the water company. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, the portion of Kettle Creek that connects with Hooper Avenue is a major intersection and thorofare. The construction schedule is mostly overnight there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically: from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., construction crews could cause lane closures and delays on Kettle Creek Road between Larch Drive and Hooper Avenue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But the water company also suggested residents could experience discolored water and other disruptions to service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their advice: fill containers with water for drinking and cooking, fill sinks and bathtubs with water for washing and flushing the toilet, and run the tap for approximately five minutes until water runs clear.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCustomers may experience discolored water during and shortly after the shutdown.
