(Submitted Photo)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Jersey Central Power &amp; Light said overnight that 465 customers were out of power township-wide, a vastly different situation from nearby Brick, where more than 3,000 customers were without electricity.<\/p>\n<p>Toms River officials were urging resident to, first and foremost, clear a three-foot swath around each fire hydrant so firefighters can more easily access them in the event of an emergency.<\/p>\n<p>Township offices were, at press time, planning a 10 a.m. delayed opening Thursday.
