That means for anyone who wants to be an officer, the test is especially important. The current application process will be open from May 1, 2018 through July 31, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who meets the following criteria is eligible to apply to the Toms River Police Department for the position of Probationary Police Officer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A United States citizen.<\/li>\n<li>Between the ages of 18 and 34.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited college or university.\u00a0If 64 credits from an accredited college or university and two years of active duty in the military.
