Work to build it will begin after the motel is torn down in the coming weeks. (Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The marina is a small, private facility next to the large Docksider condominium development on a lagoon off 1919 Bay Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe couldn\u2019t find township property that had safe parking, access and egress, so it made sense to look for a marina,\u201d said Guardian, of the Ortley Beach site. \u201cWe are leasing two spaces, building an ADA-approved dock and a kayak rack so residents can lock up their kayaks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The launches will also include a few benches as well as parking for kayak trailers.
