From April 1 through May 27, a seasonal beach badge will cost $35 to access the beaches along the oceanfront in Ortley Beach and the bay at Shelter Cove. After May 27, the price for a season badge will rise to $50. Children under the age of 12 do not need a badge.<\/p>\n<p>Senior citizens may obtain a beach ID for a one-time fee of $15 and are good for one\u2019s lifetime\u00a0(a senior must show proof of age).<\/p>\n<p>Other prices for this summer season include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Weekly Badges<\/strong>\u00a0(For a week running Saturday to Friday): $25<\/li>\n<li><strong>Daily badges<\/strong> (Monday-Friday): $7<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weekend\/Holiday Daily Badges<\/strong>: $8<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resident Seasonal Pool Badge<\/strong> (Adult): $150<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resident Seasonal Pool Badge<\/strong> (Senior\/Children 4-12): $75<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nonresident Seasonal Pool Badge<\/strong> (Adult): $300<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nonresident Seasonal Pool Badge<\/strong> (Senior\/Children 4-12): $150<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Swimming lessons<\/strong> are $50.<\/p>\n<p>Badges can be purchased at the Recreation Administration Office, 1810 Warren Point Road, or the Toms River Senior Center located at 652 Garfield Avenue, <span class=\"xauto-style4\">Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><div class=\"fb-share-button fcbkbttn_large_button \" data-href=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/tomsriver\/2019\/03\/toms-river-ortley-beach-badges-to-go-on-sale-april-1\/\" data-type=\"button_count\" data-size=\"large\"><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beach badges for the 2019 summer season will go on sale April 1 in Toms River, officials said this week.
