Hansen (Photo: Ocean County Jail)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A township man was charged with attempting to rob the TD Bank branch on Fischer Boulevard last month.<\/p>\n<p>Toms River police said Wednesday that detectives charged\u00a0Paul E. Hansen, 36, of Linden Road, with the Dec. 20 robbery, in which he allegedly gave a note to a teller stating, \u201cIf you don\u2019t follow these instructions then I will shoot you and everyone else in the bank.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter surveillance images of the man were disseminated to local news outlets and various social media sites; tips began to come in,\u201d said police spokesman Ralph Stocco.<\/p>\n<p>The man was ultimately identified as Hansen.
