Lee (Photo: OCPO)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A Toms River man who served as a teacher until 2013 has been arrested for a sexual assault in connection with his involvement with a 16-year-old in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Shawn C. Lee, 47 of Toms River, was arrested Oct. 4 and charged with sexual assault, according to a joint statement from Toms River police and the county prosecutors office.<\/p>\n<p>The arrest comes after a month long investigation by the two law enforcement agencies. An investigation revealed that Lee had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old victim in September of 2007, the statement said.
